Traveler's Blues is a premier, Atlanta-based tribute band dedicated to the iconic rock and jam band, Blues Traveler. Established in mid-2025, the project was launched by guitarist Scott Hardy via an ambitious social media campaign to find talent capable of honoring John Popper's signature blend of mind-bending harmonica solos and powerful vocals. The result is a professional, high-energy act that faithfully reproduces the band's unique blend of blues, rock, and improvisational jams.
Solving the unique challenge of John Popper's role requires the combined alchemy of two musicians : seasoned harmonica player David Fisch and powerhouse vocalist Chris Iconis. They are backed by a polished, veteran rhythm and lead section featuring Scott Hardy (guitar) , Jerbo Foti (bass) , and Alek Gayton (drums).
Traveler's Blues is highly active in the live music scene and has its sights set on music halls, venues, and festivals throughout the Southeastern US, including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The band provides a highly marketable, nostalgic draw for 90s rock fans, delivering the multi-platinum FOUR album performed front-to-back, alongside high-energy staples like "Run-Around," "Hook," and "But Anyway".
